Brussels, January 2009

Upon an invitation of the Security Office of the Council of the European Union in Brussels, representatives of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information visited the Council in January 2009.

Skopje, December 2008

As an action authority of a part of the NATO Membership Action Plan of the Republic of Macedonia concerning the security related issues, the Directorate for Security of Classified Information has been engaged in the work of the bodies responsible for the integration into NATO, such as the Committee on NATO integrations.

Representatives of the Directorate also take part in the work of the Working Group for Foreign Security and Defence Policy led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with particular engagement in the drafting of the NPAA Chapter 31.

London, November 2008

In November 2008, representatives of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information visited London in order to consider the possibilities for participation in the project on National Intelligence Database on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. At same time, contacts were established for signing a Memorandum on Understanding and Cooperation between the Directorate for Security of Classified Information from the Macedonian side and the Serious Organized Crime Agency (SOCA) from the British side. The first draft of the Memorandum was drafted to that purpose.
